AXIKĀ 36 is located in Brooklyn, positioned at a rare geographic and cultural convergence point, directly interfacing with the industrial-scale innovation of the Brooklyn Navy Yard and establishing a physical pipeline with Steiner Studios. Simultaneously, the project draws deep inspiration from Fort Greene’s legacy as a premier cultural capital—bridging the cinematic edge of the studios with the neighborhood's rich performing arts history, pioneered by institutions like the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) and the Mark Morris Dance Group.
Spatially, the building is an intentional tension between industrious making and elite curation, which allows the space to seamlessly transition between short-term artist residencies, boutique hospitality, private gallery exhibitions, and exclusive high-profile auctions. By cross collaborating with the exising industries here and curating them through AXIKĀ’s vision, a new experience is created in an exclusive environment, elevating the industries to premium experiential spaces directly fund, house, and showcase the next generation of global artist commissions.

AXIKĀ Panama is a physical built-world designed as a progressive tropical outpost. Located an hour from the international airport on a critical transit artery serving the Panama Canal, this 3.5-acre development is strategically positioned to elevate the regional culture.
Developed in a joint venture partnership with AXIKĀ Global LLC, the micro-campus is anchored by a boutique hotel and a dedicated performance and exhibition event space. Situated set back from the beachfront, the architecture is deeply integrated with local Panamanian craft and master fabrication techniques. This intentional tension between raw, hands-on regional craftsmanship and hyper-refined private luxury allows the space to serve as an exclusive incubator, seamlessly transitioning between short-term artist residencies, boutique hospitality, private gallery exhibitions, and exclusive high-profile auctions.

Driven by our architectural design methodology, these limited-edition collaborations span avant-garde architecture, interiors, furniture design, fashion, fine jewelry, fine arts, culinary arts, experiential design and experimental sound.
Each piece is developed through an immersive workshop rotation within AXIKĀ's physical built-worlds, bridging raw, hands-on fabrication with hyper-refined artistry. The resulting works are debuted globally through private gallery exhibitions and exclusive, high-profile auctions—establishing a conscious loop where elite creative expression directly shapes the future of collectible art and design.

AXIKĀ is driven by the vision of Hira Sabuhi, an architectural and interior designer whose background bridges disciplined execution with avant-garde spatial theory. Holding a B.Arch from Cornell University—the nation’s leading architecture program—and backed by corporate professional experience at top-tier design firms in New York City and Miami, Sabuhi possesses the rigorous technical foundation required to command large-scale, complex development projects.
This background is precisely how she has successfully implemented a proprietary design methodology into a scalable system that consistently delivers end-to-end client solutions. By translating raw creative vision into a repeatable, high-yield operational framework, her approach drives the repeat business and elite referrals necessary to fuel expansive international developments.
Moving beyond traditional practice, Sabuhi utilizes this architectural precision to scale AXIKĀ’s physical built-worlds globally. Whether navigating the vertical, post-industrial density of Brooklyn or the tropical transit corridors of Panama, her unique capability allows her to act as both the creative visionary and the strategic director—seamlessly bridging raw fabrication, local craft, and hyper-refined private luxury into a self-sustaining creative ecosystem.
